Library
Established in 1993, the library is located at 417 Old
Rim Road in the Chevelon Butte School Building. Under the
direction of Cheryl Rife, the library is composed of over 7600 books,
videos and audio cassettes. Computers are also available for use
by all--one of the biggest draws for the children are the many computer
games available; however, homework assignments are no stranger to the
computers either.
The library hosts many different activities during the
year, including story times, the summer reading program, community
awareness programs, holiday parties, fundraisers, potlucks and summer
kids activities. Last summer our story time program was on
Thursday mornings. Sometimes we had a good turn out and
other times we didn't. This summer we decided to alternate
Saturdays with our story time program and summer kids activities.
For those of you who have never visited the library
before, come on in and check it out. You will be quite impressed.
