Summer 2010 — Schedule of Events

• Saturday, May 29th: Memorial Day Book Sale from 7 to 11am across from the Fire Station during the Pancake Breakfast.
• Saturday, June 5th: “Fire Truck Day and BBQ” at NOON. The Forest Lakes Fire Department will have their Fire Truck and Firefighters at the library. Come meet your firefighters, explore the fire truck and enjoy some yummy bar-b-que.
• Saturday, June 12th: “Garden Fair” beginning at 11am. Everyone, come help plant our Library Garden. There will be a fun garden craft and goodies, too.
  
• Saturday, June 19th: “Fishing Tournament” at the pond. Sign-up begins at 10am. Tournament will last from 10:30 until noon. Bring your own fishing gear. Prizes!!
• Saturday, June 26th: “Make and Take Craft Day”. Come to the library to create and take home fun craft projects.
• Saturday, July 10th: “Ranger Bob Adventure Day”. Ranger Bob will take us for a guided tour at Woods Canyon Lake. This very interesting tour will last about two hours and Ranger Bob said he has had toddlers all the way to seniors participate. Meet Cheryl at the library at 9am. We will caravan over and meet Ranger Bob at 10am. Note: For those of you who attended our Sinkhole Hike last summer, don’t worry about getting lost this year. Ranger Bob does not allow getting lost in the woods and he will be our intrepid guide the entire time.
• Saturday, July 17th: “Kids Cooking Party” at 11am. Lots of fun with cooking, party games and eating.
• Saturday, July 24th: “Make and Take Craft Day”. Come to the library to create and take home fun craft projects.
• Saturday, September 4th: “Thirteenth Annual Craft Fair” from 9am to 2pm at the library. Get an early start on your holiday shopping. Many crafters with a wide variety of items.

All events will be held at the library unless otherwise noted and are free of charge.
